We took this restoration and modification project on as a rolling body shell. First we took care of the areas of the body where rot had set in, replacing the load bed floor, top hat sections, rear apron, door bottoms and front wings etc. Once the body was solid again we then carried out the body modification – smoothing the front apron, bonnet vents and scuttle panel, notching the front chassis legs, rolling the rear arches and fabricating a custom bonnet lip on the leading edge. After painting we hung all the opening panels and fitted lock mechanisms, door strikers, glass and all new rubbers.
