Packard Super 8 1930

Packard Super 8 1930

This American pre-war classic was another interesting and satisfying body restoration to have carried out. The Packard came to us as a complete and original example – mechanically sound, but with tired and unstable paintwork. We stripped the vehicle down, carefully removing the bright work, glass, doors, four piece bonnet, wings and runner boards. We stripped the paint off, fabricated repair panels for the rear arches, all four wings and runner boards. Welded the repair panels in and lead loading the areas, levelled, primed, prepared, painted and machine polished before carefully rebuilding the vehicle ready to hand back to the client.
