1973 Devon full body restoration

This is one lovely solid original UK right hand drive Bay camper.

We started the full body restoration on Marvin ‘named by the proud owners Tracy and Steve’ in October 2014. Marvin came in as a running on the road bus with good solid floors and chassis but a very tired outer body, leaking pop top, bubbling orange paint and perished rubbers.

First we removed the trim, glass and seals. Replaced all the rotten panels, stripped the body back to bare metal, carried out a change of colour re-spray, under sealed the chassis, wheel tubs, floors and cavity wax injected all internal panels and box sections. Carried out a full strip down refurbishment of the Devon pop complete with new headlining and sky light. Finally reassembling the complete body using all new rubbers, seals and gaskets.

Replacement panels included: front panel, deformation panel, front wheel arch panels, cab door shells, rear hatch, inner and outer rear valance, sliding door inner and outer bottom repair panel.
